What A Week
Where to Start?
Catching a fish is not a issue on Gville but catching the Big Ones can still cause you a HeadAche. This past week we did corporate trips to pre tournament trips just a busy week.
During the tournament practice trip we had a great time cutting up all day and locating some big uns on the Lowrance HDS’s (we do offer sonar training ) and I have gotten a report from my customer and he had a hard time keeping them buttoned up still managed a great finish. (no pics where taken) to two sons taking their father fishing for his birthday and a Tournament with Eric what a great week
Had returning friends for a corp. trip for a day and half and proud to say my guys won the Big Fish for Both Days
Looking Forward to next year all ready had a blast.
This next one is a 1st for me we had 3 Jim’s in one boat and a Michael and we caught them and kept on catching them I think it was a great birthday present , what do you guys think?
Yes we took a lot of pics and I wanted to share them with you all.
Most of the week the best way to catch them was on a SPRO Little John DD, 4×4 Kevin Hawk Signature Football Jig with a NetBait Paca Craw for trailer Green pumpkin, or a 11inch C Mac NetBait out on Ledges then in the Grass the good ol B Bug was still standing tall.
Now for the Tournament.
Eric and I jumped in the Guntersville Civitan Tournament without looking around or practicing we both felt that with the amount of pressure the lake is seeing it would be in our best interest to just show up and go fishing we kinda treated it like a practice day. And with no complaints or losing a single fish we fished cleaned and had a awesome time, we cracked them on a SPRO Little JOHN and a Proto Type 4×4 bait. we had just over 23lbs and took 3rd. Yup you guessed it we hit up the King for the Whopper.
Lake Guntersville is still producing big bass. Best baits for this past week have been SPRO Crankbaits Little John DD and 4×4 Jigs in Kevin Hawks Football Jig the color is Hawks Prey with a NetBait Paca Craw in Green Pumpkin Red.
Been fishing 15-20ft of water just locating the bass on the my Lowrance HDS units. After locating them its been pretty easy to catching the big ones.
Lake Guntersville has been chosen for the 1st ever SPRO Crank Bait only tournament it will be on May 30th.
$10,000 for 1st place with a $100 entry fee. more info go to http://sprofishingtournament.webs.com

Guntersville Guntersville Guntersville
Been a Fun Week here on Guntersville even if it has more boats then I have ever seen on it (especially during the week) .
Its still kinda spotty on things one day you can catch them big time up shallow in the grass and the next its a ghost town there so you go out deeper and get in to them and the next day you go deep and nothing so you check the grass and they are there waiting to try to rip your arm off..
Had Tommy and John with me today from 4×4 Bass Jigs and it was a even mix today we caught a few in the grass then got a few out deep on a Proto Type Bait that I think we need to call it the Shank but we will see. We did get a few on the Head Hunter as well.. Its alway fun to fish with these two and you never know what Tommy has Dreamed up to try out here. If you have not tried a 4×4 Jig you need to. These Jigs have a real hook in them not one of those little ones that get bent out by the big uns that live in Guntersville,
Stop in Guntersville Tackle and check them out.

Lake Guntersville Donkey Days
Lake Guntersville was fun yesterday these pics will show just how awesome it is. Not going to say we had a record breaking day but it was close.
I look for things to only get better.
All these fish came off one spot in 30 mins it was like its suppose to be, but don’t try to repeat because they still have not gotten where they want to be and that is still a mystery.
But as of right now if you are not throwing the new SPRO Little John XL your missing out on some fish catches of a lifetime its like when the Alabama Rig 1st came out its that crazy.
Come and Get You Some Bass Palm (its like bass thumb but only better)
