The rain has begun and so has the big bites. Last few years we have had this kind of rain and the results from it seem to be positive ( other then its wet ) but it seems to keep the bass active most of the day, now if we could work on the cold fronts then we will be wide open. Theres new bass showing up daily to pre spawn areas all over the lake and it will only get better from here on out.
Guntersville is a little higher then normal ( once again the past few years ) some of the ramps are flooded so you have to do some boating to get to some areas. But its worth it when the bass are biting.
Water temps are hanging around 50-54 with the warm rain the water is stained for the most part. with 210,000 through the dam the river is swift so be careful out there.
