It’s Been Hot Here On Guntersville, The Heat Has Been Up There Too. We’ve Been Seeing Some Good Bass Here Lately. The feeding windows are still happening and the baits haven’t changed to much. The Crappie have been biting good as well and still a blast even in this heat.
Water Temps 86 up to 91 degrees and clarity is about 4 feet at most
The larger bass have been a daily thing the last couple weeks. And the numbers have dropped some, that’s still better then most dog days of summer that I’ve seen out here.
As for the crappie they been steady biting. We’ve been mixing in some crappie with the bass when they stop feeding it’s been making for a fun morning.
Lures for the Bass have been: Football Jigs we use 4×4 Bass Jigs and their Ledge Hammer stand up mag worm jig head.
Lures for the Crappie have been using a Ultimate Crappie Jig with baby shad bait color really hasn’t mattered much just when it’s bright out the lighter colors have been working and when it’s cloudy or early in the morning a darker color.
The Froggin Water is looking better by the day. Now is a good time to book your fall froggin trip with us. Click here
